The ghost is here to stay. The player controls either Ciel Phantomhive or Sebastian Michaelis in a choose-your-own adventure-esque game, where players can choose from various dialogue options throughout the game. It is the player's job to solve puzzles and mini-games in the adventure mode to gain special items.
