Before you begin

Make sure you have all the necessary materials before starting the packaging. Using quality materials will protect your items during transit.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.

Packaging Process

Follow these steps to correctly package your items

Preparing the Item

Initial checks and cleaning

Do not do

  • Do not use adhesive tape directly on the product
  • Do not use newspapers or print materials
  • Do not stack items without protection
  • Do not use wet or damp materials

Recommended procedure

Carefully inspect the item for any pre-existing damage. Clean the surface with a dry, soft cloth. Document the condition with photos before packaging.

First Protective Layer

Direct protection of the item

Technical specifications

  • 1Use acid-free tissue paper or foam sheets
  • 2Completely wrap the item leaving no exposed areas
  • 3Secure with tape only on the protective material, never on the item
  • 4For sealed items, use plastic cases or rigid protectors
Expected result

The item must be completely covered and protected from scratches and direct contact.

Box and Filling

Choosing the right container

Container requirements

  • Sturdy cardboard box in good condition
  • Size slightly larger than the item
  • No holes or weak points
  • Double-wall cardboard for valuable items

Filling material

Fill all empty spaces with:

  • Bubble wrap
  • Foam peanuts
  • Crumpled kraft paper
  • Air cushions

Important: The item must not move inside the box. Test by gently shaking.

Double layer protection

For items of particular value, we recommend using a double box system for maximum protection.

Place the first box inside a larger one
Fill the space between boxes with protective material
Ensure at least 5cm of padding on each side
Seal both boxes securely
Reference standard

This method follows international standards for shipping collectible and valuable items.
